The Haddonfield Garden Club has undertaken a two year project to place a Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker on Kings Highway in front of the Haddonfield Borough Hall by Memorial Day, May 25, 2020 for a dedication ceremony. This marker will be the first in Camden County and will serve as a tribute to those who have served and continue to serve in all branches of the military for our country. The first marker, placed by the Garden Club of New Jersey, was dedicated in 1945 in Plainfield. Now there are more than 2,500 memorials throughout the United States with 36 in New Jersey. Our Blue Star Project requires funds for procuring the marker, permanent installation and landscaping as well as continued maintenance of the marker and site.
Any financial assistance that you can provide would be most appreciated.
All donations are tax deductible and will be followed by a letter from us to that effect. Please make checks to the “Haddonfield Garden Club” and send to Jeanette Leeds, 450 Elm Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ, 08033. Donors will receive formal invitations to the dedication ceremony. Thank you for your kind consideration.
