I’ve got a big list of Christmas towns coming up. New Jersey has so much going on during the holiday season. However, if I had to single out a street, it would probably be…Kings Highway in Haddonfield. The town’s main drag, you won’t want to miss their special Candlelight Shopping events. A Haddonfield Christmas is unlike any other. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported into the middle of a Hallmark holiday movie.

Haddonfield is a charming historic town that played a major role in both the Revolutionary War and the field of paleontology. But we’re not here to talk about muskets and dinosaurs. We’re here to talk about twinkle lights and evergreen trees.

The New Jersey Legislature met at Haddonfield’s Indian King Tavern during the war and declared New Jersey an independent state there in 1777. It is now a museum. As for paleontology, one of the most complete dinosaur skeletons ever found was discovered in the town in 1858.

There’s a lot to love about the town and it’s worth visiting all year long. However, it’s extra special during the holiday season. With all the spirit of a closely-knit small town, Haddonfield does it up right for the holiday season.
