Talks, walk, demonstrations and tables. There is something for everyone! Come see raptors, learn about recycling, go on a family scavenger hunt and see presentations from our student ambassadors. Plus, there will be live music at the gazebo on May 3rd!

Monday April 28
A History of Cheap Stuff in America- Book Signing and Discussion
7 pm, Haddonfield Public Library
Dr. Wendy Woloson, Professor of History at Rutgers University – Camden, and author of Crap: A History of Cheap Stuff in America, will discuss how the abundance of inexpensive consumer goods has distorted our priorities and values, contributed to ecological problems, and changed our relationships to our possessions.

The Cooper River in Haddonfield – The Beauty in Our Backyard

This talk and slideshow will open your eyes to the beauty and resources of the Cooper River and its ponds.
Wednesday April 30
Haddonfield Environmental Commission Student Member Presentations
7 pm, Haddonfield Public Library
Student Members of the Haddonfield Environmental Commission will present their projects: a photo essay of the Cooper River, an analysis of flood patterns in Haddonfield, a geocaching project to engage families in Haddonfield’s green spaces, and a project to use mussels to improve local water quality
